About Michele

Michele Zipkin is a freelance journalist and audio editor in Philadelphia. She was hired as staff writer for Philadelphia Gay News in January 2020.

Michele has worked as an editor and producer for several podcasts, including governmentality, MusiQology and The Newsworthy. She has also written about Philly arts and culture for That Music Mag, JUMP, PhillyVoice and WXPN's The Key. She holds a Master of Journalism degree from Temple University.
